Since this is the first time I post on this blog, I will start by setting up some rules.
Objectivity:
I am planning on doing a lot of reviews here, but please keep in mind that I am, in fact, human, so I will not be able to be 100% objective. I will, however, try to be as objective as I can, even if I am involved with a game myself.
Also, please consider that, in the interest of time, I may not have played through the entirety of the game, but, for the sake of fair review, I will at least finish the tutorial (if there is one) and play seriously for an hour after that, unless the game in question is shorter than that, in which case I will play through the entirety of the game.
Spoilers:
The reviews will be spoiler-free, with occasionally a spoiler section near the end (clearly marked, btw). I will not add spoilers for games released less than 3 months ago.
I consider spoilers to be information that you can not find out in the tutorial or in the first hour of gameplay (depending heavily on the game being reviewed, of course).
I also do not consider basic gameplay information (like game mechanics) to be spoilers, unless they are deliberately meant to be kept secret at first.
Good points and bad points:
I will try to find both good points and bad point in any game I review. I prefer to give some feedback on improvements if I can, even if the developer of the game in question does not read this.
Keep in mind that this part is more subjective than the rest.
Mistakes:
Of course, I can make mistakes. If I do, please correct me in the comments and I will change it.
Copyright:
I do not own any of the games I review. If I were to make games myself (which I am interested in, btw), I will not review them.
Should I get a copyright claim, I will delete the review of that game if requested.
Requests:
You can request me to review a game through Twitter @TiffianaGames, the comments here, and my e-mail: tiffaniana.blog@gmail.com.
I prefer to look through comments and twitter, so keep that in mind if you really want me to review something.
I will review any kind of games (yes, that includes H games), but keep in mind that I have a real life as well, so my time is limited.
Reviewing a game also requires me to get the game. If I can not get it or play it (because it requires a particular console, for example), I will not be able to review it.
As requested, if the game is an indie game, I will put "(indie)" at the end of the title.
H games (NSFW, obviously):
When there is sexual content in a game as a main feature (i.e. H games), I will add an NSFW tag in the title.
I will not show any sexual content (i.e. pictures and the like) and I will not provide links to the game being reviewed in the review.
Should you want links to the game, you can try contacting me and I will see if I can give you a link. Be warned that most of these H game sites can be dangerous. Proceed at your own risk.
At the start of a NSFW review, I will write a "Features" paragraph containing any fetishes the game may have. If you do not like them, I recommend you stop reading the review. I am not responsible for any offense taken because of you neglecting to do this.
Lastly, games are, and always will be, fiction. I am of the mindset that anything goes, as long as it is fiction, it does not connect to the real world (i.e. being based off of real people with the intention of shaming them), and it stays in fiction. I am not responsible for anyone acting on the real world based on anything that happened in a game I reviewed.
Sorry for going on that tangent, but nowadays, it seems like it needs to be said explicitly, so I did.
I will update this post should something else come up.
